Our quarterly Small Business Talks is one of the events provided by the Chamber that is available to Chamber members, and non-members. Typically taking place every quarter at various locations.  This event gives the business community an opportunity to learn more about what the Chamber is doing to reach their goals and to provide knowledge to those who wish to open a business of their own or help their current business thrive. A variety of topics  concerning small businesses are covered from an informative speaker. This program is held over lunch. Business Mix and Mingle is an event that can entail a variety of possibilities to networking. It typically takes place at  5:30 P.M. on the third Thursday of every month at various business locations. Hosting a Mix and Mingle is a great way to promote your business or organization while alsoconnecting you to the business community.  If you're interested in hosting a Mix and Mingle, contact us here.
 

Grand Openings, Ribbon Cuttings, and Ground Breakings are the perfect occasions to celebrate your businesses' debut. Whether you are just starting on a new project, finally opening your doors, or just moving locations these events not only connect you to your chamber but the entire business community and beyond. Totally customizable to your business needs and goals these events are a great way to meet & greet with community leaders and business professionals.  Always open to the public, the Chamber promotes these events to local media and its members. Chamber members are encouraged to attend these free events as a way to learn about the growth in our community. The Chamber holds special events throughout the year that bring the entire business and local community together. Whether it is through our Annual Awards Banquet, Frontier Day, Holiday Lighting and Sip and Shop, or our Farm to Table Dinner, you can network and socialize with with friends and colleges while celebrating the accomplishments of the dedicated members of our community.

The Chamber’s Committees provide members the opportunity to join in the planning of different events, and in the recruiting and retention of chamber members. Committees available for members to join are:  Membership, Holiday Lighting and Sip and Shop, Frontier Day, and the Events committee. Chamber Members in these committees work together in teams to meet goals based off of the needs of our business community as a whole. Committee membership is open to all Chamber Members and is a great way to give back while making Pottsboro a better place to do business. Chamber Ambassadors are volunteers from the community that serve on welcome committees, help with membership campaigns and act as public relations liaisons related to networking/social events sponsored by the chamber.  If you are interested in becoming an Ambassador click here.  

The Board of Directors meet every month to discuss possibilities for developing goals to further help the business community. During these meetings board members discuss updates to Chamber projects, community updates, local government, workforce development, and industry updates across the city. The board is designed to reflect the entire City of Pottsboro with representatives from nearly every field of business.
