Service Organizations

Our most important resource? Our community and its people. Pottsboro proper may be small in size, but we serve a sprawling, growing area with schools, churches, businesses and over 14,000 residents. Abundant service organizations and programs serve the community through various means with the volunteer support of many of our residents. Our schools are exemplary, and the community backs them in sports, arts or academics, with pride and vigor. Grayson County College and nearby Austin College provide excellent local opportunities for higher education with nationally recognized programs.
