The Pottsboro Library will host a How-To Festival on Saturday, May 20, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at James G. Thompson Park. Sessions will be located throughout the park, transforming it into a giant classroom. It’s free and open to the public.
Simultaneous presentations will be occurring all over the park. A schedule will be printed in advance to allow attendees to choose the presentations they wish to attend. At least 30 presenters are anticipated, offering 20 minute classes on such topics as “How to BBQ”, “How to play horseshoes, “How to eat with chopsticks”, How to Ice a cupcake”, “How to compost”, and “How to Care for a new dog”.
